Troika Dialog Group, the oldest investment bank in Russia, has announced the appointment of Igor Sagiryan as Group President.
He joins Troika Dialog from Renaissance Group where he served as president.
Sagiryan will be tasked with supervision of new business development and management of strategic operational activities with the firm’s institutional and private clients.
Chairman Ruben Vardanian has stated that the bank intends to become a financial institution of the future, catering to the needs of clients in emerging markets.
Vardanian went on to praise Sagiryan’s diverse professional background, and express his full confidence in the new president’s capabilities.
Sagiryan has explained that the recent economic turmoil presents the bank both with challenges and unique opportunities with the future economic development most possible in Russia, China and Africa.
Troika Dialog itself has a strategic partnership with South Africa’s Standard Bank based upon its desire to become a leading player in emerging markets.
