Independent investment bank Collins Stewart has announced the appointment of Ashok Kumar as a senior research analyst.
Kumar will bring extensive knowledge of a broad range of technologies acquired during the course of his career.
In joining Collins Stewart he leaves behind CRT Capital Group, where he covered semiconductors, semiconductor equipment, enterprise hardware and storage.
Kumar brings with him a great deal of industry experience earnt over 23 years in a wide array of jobs, and has worked for Raymond James, Piper Jaffray, Prudential Securities and Southcoast Capital.
In addition to these, he has worked for Intel Corporation, General Dynamics and KPMG Peat Marwick.
North American CEO and president Shawn McLoughlin has welcomed Kumar to the team, adding that his presence would reinforce the firm’s research capabilities and bolster its expertise.
