Investment banking firm Boenning & Scattergood have bolstered their equity research team with the appointment of Matthew Schultheis to the post of senior research analyst.

Schultheis is a Chartered Financial Analyst, and brings experience of analysing financial institutions, particularly banks, to his new post.

Previously he worked as a financial analyst with Ferris, Baker Watts Inc., concentrating upon REITs, specialty finance companies and banks.

Schultheis’ appointment will increase the number of firms under coverage in the financial services sector.

Nancy Zeller-Landau, Equities and Research director, has praised Schultheis’ knowledge and experience and said that his hire, amongst others, underlines the firm’s commitment to recruiting the high-quality employees.
