Independent financial advisory firm Collins Stewart has announced it has made Martin Turner head of small and mid cap equities.
Turner joins Collins Stewart from Teathers Capital Markets, previously known as Landsbanki, where he served as head of Sales, and had a seat on the Executive Committee.
He brings with him extensive experience, and during his career has worked for Rothschild and Merrill Lynch.
In assuming his new post Turner will take on responsibility for the firm’s small and mid cap equity product in the UK and Europe.
This includes the sales and research teams focused upon the small and midcap field, and the production and distribution of mid-cap
product by the large-cap teams.
Chief executive Mark Brown has welcomed Turner’s recruitment to the newly created position.
Turner’s appointment follows shortly after Katherine Lucas Minyard was hired by Collins Stewart to initiate coverage of the firm’s U.S. integrated Oil & Gas companies.
