Investment bank Credit Suisse has appointed a new managing director for its China Investment Banking division.
Arthur Zhu leaves behind Deutsche Bank where he served as managing director of Deutsche Bank, China.
In his previous position he was responsible for coverage of state-owned businesses within China, particularly transport and industry.
He brings eight years of investment banking experience to Credit Suisse, and has worked in China, Hong Kong and the UK.
As MD, Zhu will focus primarily upon providing Chinese state-owned enterprises with investment banking coverage.
In his new role, Zhu will be based in Beijing initially and report to Liping Zhang, head of the China Investment Banking Department and vice chairman of Non Japan Asia Investment Banking Department.
