Investment management firm Eaton Vance Corp have announced the appointment of Stephen J. Kaszynski as the new institutional portfolio manager for the Large-Cap Value team.
Kaszynski was most recently with Swiss investment bank Credit Suisse, where he served as MD and head of US equities.
He began his career over 30 years ago, working for Madison Bank & Trust in 1976.
During the course of his lengthy career he has also worked for Invesco Capital Management and Gardner & Preston Moss.
The team is responsible for overseeing more than $19bn in Large Cap assets, and consists of lead portfolio manager Michael Mach, John Crowley and Matt Beaudry.
Eaton Vance’s chief equity investment officer, Duncan W. Richardson, has welcomed the appointment, praising Kaszynski’s in-depth market knowledge and strong commitment to service.
