On 17 June, Gaz de France and LCL, a member of the Crédit Agricole S.A. group since 2003, will begin to roll out the sale of natural gas and electricity contracts throughout France.

The partnership’s six month test period saw almost 1,200 contracts sold in the départements of Loire Valley and Normandy, a result that was seen as an indication of both efficiency and simplicity that the clientele warmed to.

Gaz de France and LCL have chosen to work together to couple their own unique areas of expertise to produce innovative solutions.

Recently, France’s energy market has been loosened up, and Gaz de France has seen this as an opportunity to work alongside a partner with an extensive branch network to provide a better service to its client base.
