Lloyds Banking Group has appointed Truett Tate, currently group executive director for wholesale banking, to the position of vice chairman, client coverage.
In his new role, Mr Tate will be responsible for leading and co-ordinating the group’s corporate client coverage model, reporting directly to group chief executive, António Horta-Osório.
Nathan Bostock, currently head of restructuring and risk at the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), will take up the role of chief executive, wholesale, on a date yet to be agreed.
Mr Bostock joined RBS in June 2009 as head of restructuring and risk, with responsibility for the bank’s non-core division.
Previously, he spent seven years at Chase Manhattan Bank in a variety of areas and functions.
Lloyds has also announced the appointment of Andrew Geczy as head of wholesale banking and markets, with immediate effect.
Mr Geczy joined the Group in 2009 and has played an important role in developing its wholesale bank proposition for corporate customers.
