Deutsche Bank has announced that Christof von Dryander will join the bank as general counsel for Germany and Central & Eastern Europe, as well as for the asset & wealth management and private & business clients divisions, on a global basis.
Currently a partner at the Hong Kong office of law firm Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, he will take up his new role on 1st January 2013 but will be available to Deutsche Bank on a consulting basis from 1st October 2012.
Mr von Dryander will be based at the bank’s corporate headquarters in Frankfurt, reporting to general counsel, Richard H Walker.
