Global investment bank Nomura has announced the appointment of Guy Cornelius and Raffaele Ricci as co-heads of Fixed Income Sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Cornelius leaves behind the role of Head of Fixed Income for Evolution Securities to join Nomura, brining with him more than two decades of experience.

Ricci also brings decades of experience to his new post, but has worked for Nomura for the last two years.

The pair will be based in London, and will report directly to Georges Assi and Kieran Higgins, co-heads of Fixed Income for the EMEA.

Cornelius and Ricci will collaborate with Nomura’s trading, structuring and research functions to ensure efficient operations, and will be tasked with the strategic approach towards the bank’s client franchise.

Assi and Higgins have expressed their confidence in the new co-heads of Fixed Income Sales (EMEA).
