Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking has announced a pair of senior appointments.

Fiona Paulus has been named as the firm’s new head of Coverage
& Investment Banking UK, with Andrew Nason becoming senior banker and head of the UK Financial Institutions Group (FIG).

In her newly created position Paulus will become responsible for the investment banking strategy regarding UK clients, and for supervision of the UK Coverage & Investment Banking teams.

She will be based in London and will report directly to Ian Fisher, group country head for the UK, and Thierry Aulagnon, head of Client Coverage & Investment Banking.

Nason will also be based in London, and will be responsible to Paulus.

Prior to joining the firm he worked for Lazard, working as managing director of FIG UK.
