Independent investment banking and asset management and securities firm Boenning & Scattergood, Inc. has announced that it has bolstered its investment banking team with the addition of James Ramp.

He brings to the firm over two decades of experience in global banking, and has worked in a wide range of equity markets and banking positions.

Prior to his hiring by Boenning & Scattergood Ramp worked in the equity capital markets and investment banking division of Susquehanna
Financial Group as MD and global head.

Ramp, who assumes the post of managing director, is to focus upon enhancing relationships in the energy/alternative energy and consumer sectors, as well as implementing investment banking transactions.

John Chuff, chief operating officer and director of Capital Markets, has warmly welcomed the appointment and praised Ramp’s extensive experience.
