French bank Société Générale has announced a raft of appointments, all of which are effective from 1 October.
Jean-Pierre Mustier, presently Corporate and Investment Banking CEO, becomes head of Global Investment Management & Services.
In addition to this, Mustier will also succeed Alain Clot as chairman and CEO of the firm’s Asset Management division.
He will be seconded by Sylvie Rucar, chief operating officer of Global Investment Management & Services.
Elsewhere Executive Committee member Michel Péretié is appointed as head of Corporate and Investment Banking.
Philippe Collas is to become a senior advisor to Frédéric Oudea, the firm’s chief executive officer.
Lastly Françoise Mercadal-Delasalles joins the firm and assumes the role of head of operating efficiency and innovation.
She will work alongside Séverin Cabannes, deputy CEO, and be responsible for meeting the objectives of the Operating Efficiency Plan.
